About Linda's Musical Theater Camp
Linda’s summer program brings a fresh, new, intimate approach to musical theater workshops – programs are tailored by age and skill. All students & levels welcome! Kindergarten through 8th grade. Campers begin their mornings with one hour each of acting, dance, and singing lessons, with campers divided by age and skill level. Acting games are played which foster creative problem-solving, team work, and other life skills. Dance classes expose beginning dancers to basic dance steps while challenging current dance students with new choreography. Singing classes teach vocal techniques through exercises and song. In the afternoon, students put their skills to use as they prepare musical theater scenes, songs and dances for their end-of-week open house performance. Campers also enjoy other “surprise” activities including special guests, theater games, improv, stage makeup and costume design introduction. No prior experience necessary. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.
