About University of Delaware Honors Program Summer College
The University of Delaware Honors Program Summer College gives high school students an edge! UD Honors Program Summer College is an exclusive opportunity for academically motivated high school sophomores and juniors to live and learn on one of the most beautiful college campuses on the East Coast. From early July to mid-August, UD Honors Program Summer College students live together in a University residence hall, take real college courses for credit, and enjoy the independence and excitement that can only be found at a top national university. Courses for Summer College, taught by University faculty, are designed to encourage students to expand their knowledge in new directions and to provide a supportive environment where learning is valued for its own sake. Selective institutions, like the University of Delaware, are interested in high school students who demonstrate the ability to succeed in college-level work in an independent environment.
