What types of summer camps are on your website?
We list all types of camps for kids, including sports camps, academic camps, day camps and overnight camps. We do not currently list family camps or camps not targeted to children 18 years and younger. Right now, we are primarily covering the San Francisco Bay Area and the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley area. If you're interested in us expanding to your area, please let us know.
Do any of your camps offer financial aid?
Yes, there are a number of camps that offer scholarships or financial aid, and even some camps that are free. Here is a list of camps that we know that offer camp scholarships. In addition, many camps will help families, if the family really needs it and the child has a particular interest in the camp. It is always worth asking the camp directly.
Why don't all camps have session data available?
Entering session level data is very labor intensive, and so camps must pay to have session level data listed. If there is a camp that you would like session level data for, send us an email at camp@signupforcamp.com, and we'll see if we can sign them up.
How do I add a camp to your website?
You can add a camp to our website by going to our add a camp page.
How can I save a camp without session data to my calendar?
You can't directly save a camp without session data to your calendar. However, we will soon add a feature so that you can add any type of event to your calendar, like a vacation or a camp.
How can I share my calendar with a friend or view a friends' camps?
You may only view the calendars of friends. To invite a friend to share calendars, you must have an account. Once you have an account, you can invite friends by going to the "invite a friend" tab in the friends section. Your friend will receive an email asking him/her to join Sign Up For Camp and accept your invitation.
How do I accept a friend invitation?
When a friend invites you to be a friend, you should receive an email from Sign Up For Camp. Click on the "accept friend invitation" link. If you don't have an account on Sign Up For Camp, you will be asked to create one in order to accept a friend invitation.
Can I remove a friend?
Yes, you can remove a friend from your friends list and calendar by going to the "friends list" tab in the friend's section. On the Friends List, select the person and click the link that says "remove from list". That will remove the friend from your list and calendar.
