About Cameron House Summer Youth Programs
Cameron House offers three exciting summer programs for 1st through 8th graders that focus on fun, friendship, leadership development and community service, as well as a week-long camp for 6th through 12th graders. Cameron Ventures (grades 1 through 5) provides safe and rewarding summer experiences with an emphasis on Christian values. At every grade level, youth are challenged to increase their physical, mental, spiritual and social skills through games, songs, field trips, devotions, cookouts and arts & crafts. The Summer Bilingual Youth Program (grades 1 through 5) offers youth from low-income and/or immigrant families an exciting educational and recreational program. Participants can continue their scholarly pursuits, make new friends, join in creative activities and go on field trips. Solid Ground (grades 6 through 8 Solid Ground is a fun and engaging program for middle school youth; they can participate in cookouts, field trips and overnight outdoor campouts. There is an emphasis on leadership development workshops and community service projects. Westminster Woods Youth Camp (grades 6 to 12) is a week-long camp experience where kids get away from big city life and enjoy the beauty of God's creations. Activities may include skits, crafts, swimming, hiking, singing, archery, volleyball, Bible study, small group discussions and campfires.
