About Camp Kala 2011


At Camp Kala you will explore hands-on art making activities while working in a professional studio environment at Kala Art Institute. Students tour printmaking and digital media studios, view original contemporary art in the Kala Gallery and engage in conversation with Artists-in-Residence from around the world. Lunch and break times include outdoor group games and free play in nearby San Pablo Park (High School students may take lunch at nearby Berkeley Bowl West). There are plenty of books and indoor games available during studio breaks throughout the day. Discover new creativity this summer at Camp Kala!
