About Wilmington Youth Rowing Association Rowing Camps
WYRA summer rowing camps are nonstop fun, educational, and a great opportunity for campers to meet new friends from all over the greater Delaware area.
Anyone between the ages of 10-14 can come out for ROW FOR IT!, which teaches youngsters the wonderful sport of competitive rowing. Rowing 101 is for kids ages 14-19 thinking of joining one of WYRA’s programs or perhaps considering rowing in college but who don’t want to show up on the first day of try-outs knowing nothing. Rowing 101 is a relaxed, stress-free way of finding out whether or not rowing is the sport for you. Very little commitment is needed since it is a 4 day workshop, but still offers enough hands-on experience to help you decide whether or not you want to pursue an interest in rowing.
Our Advanced Camp is aimed at rowers who have at least one season already under their belt. The registration deadline is on May 20th.
