About San Francisco Rock Project
San Francisco Rock Project is a nonprofit performance-based rock music school located in the Rincon Hill neighborhood of San Francisco's SoMA district. We are located in the Sailor's Union of the Pacific building, home of the legendary Maritime Hall music venue.
Our summer camps provide a fun, full-immersion week of rock and roll! Students receive daily private one-on-one lessons on their instrument of choice (guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals) with instructors who are working musicians and talented teachers.
Students work together in mixed-level and mixed-age group during camp to get ready for the final performance, held on the Saturday afternoon after camp at the Hotel Utah Saloon, at 500 4th Street @ Bryant.
