About Berkeley Rep School of Theatre Summer Theatre Intensive
Fill this summer with imagination and creativity at Berkeley Rep! Berkeley Rep School of Theatre’s Summer Theatre Intensive offers a fun, enriching, and affordable camp experience for middle school and high school students – right here in Berkeley! Middle- and high-school students are led by professional playwrights and master teaching artists as they collaborate with their peers to adapt a story in to an original play. At the end of the four-week session, these original works will be performed onstage at Berkeley Rep to an audience of family and friends. Daily electives and weekly seminars taught by Berkeley Rep’s production staff give students a chance to enhance their theatre training, and to see what happens behind the scenes. Financial aid is available.
