About Marin Horizon Summer Camp
• We proudly feature an 8:1 camper to counselor ratio.
• Children are supervised in small groups at all times, and we promote a policy of inclusion
for all activities.
• We offer flexibility in a 4 or 5 day-per-week program, with
a half-day option available for 3 and 4 year-olds.
• We are a state-licensed facility, so all Head teachers have either California State
or Montessori teaching credentials. All assistants have a minimum of 12 Early
Childhood Education units.
• Camp runs 6 consecutive weeks, from June 27th through August 5th.
• Camp is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm, and serves all children 3 to 8 years of age.
Our Regular program runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
• Please send a bag lunch with your child. Healthy morning and afternoon snacks
are provided.
We have three age groups, the Scouts, the Hawks, and the Explorers!
• Scouts are 3-4 yrs old and entering Preschool.
• Hawks are 4 1/2 - 6 years old and entering Kindergarten.
• Explorers are 6 - 8 yrs old, and entering 1st through 3rd grades.
