About Arden Drama School: Summer Camps for Kids and Teens
Arden Kids' Crew, Grades 1-5 Five sessions of action-packed summer theatre camp, including acting and design classes, culminating in a Camp Show for family and friends. Check out our new two-week sessions with field trips! Plus two hours of instructional time have been added each day! Space is limited, so register early. Arden Teen Company Camp, Grades 6-12 Acting Camp: Mon, July 11 - Fri, July 21 (2 weeks-weekdays only) 9am - 3pm • Final Performance: Thu, July 21 – 6pm- Some of Philly’s esteemed theatre professionals will teach kids how to be an active listener, create believable characters, establish objectives and obstacles, and dissect scenes. Teens will have a blast learning how to build ensemble skills and work with a script. At the end of the camp, parents, friends, and family will be invited to share a staged reading starring their teens! Musical Theatre Camp: Mon, July 25 - Fri, August 11 (3 weeks-weekdays only) 9am - 3pm Final Performance: Thu, Aug 11 – 6pm Some of Philly’s finest musical theatre pros will teach kids how to sing, act, and dance. Teens will have a ball as they learn how to interpret a song, read music, sing harmony, and present a song. Campers will work with a piano accompanist in every class. At the end of the camp, parents, friends, and family will be invited to share a musical revue starring their teens!
