About La Playa Music Summer Camp


La Playa Summer Music Camp offers children and youth 5-16 years of age an opportunity to explore their creativity, meet new friends, learn to play an instrument and develop skills through fun activities.

 

Our comprehensive curriculum includes music fundamentals and the exploration of different aspects of harmony, melody, rhythm, and timbre.

 

The curriculum introduces campers to live performance, music, and movement.
Campers will participate in small group lessons and will get introductory level instruction on an instrument (piano, guitar, percussion, voice).

 

Instructors: Alex Balmaceda, Martina Ayala, Ed.D., and Guest Instructors TBA
Ages: 5 to 16 years of age.
Full Day: 9am – 5pm
Class Size: Maximum 10 Campers
Level: All levels
Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Percussion, and Vocals

 

*Spanish immersion camp sessions available with a minimum of 10 campers.
** Must have a minimum of 6 Full-Time campers to move forward with camp session.
