About Bay Area Shakespeare Camp
Kids get into the act at Bay Area Shakespeare Camp! Have FUN with your friends while learning all about the world of performance and Shakespeare from trained teaching artists. Now in its 18th season, Bay Area Shakespeare Camp is designed to accommodate both kids with experience and those new to performance. Shakespeare Camp provides training in acting and improvisation, vocal skills and movement, stage combat and set and costume design. On the final day of the session, campers will stage a mini-Shakespeare play for family and friends followed by a celebratory cast party. Bay Area Shakespeare offers two-week day camps for youngsters ages four to 18 in convenient locations in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area. Camp meets Monday through Friday, and times vary based on age group. Optional aftercare for kids ages seven to 13 is available until 5:30pm. Scripts, materials and supplies are included, and need-based scholarship assistance is available.
