RayKo has developed several youth specific curricula to help educators and administrators utilize photography as a tool for teaching. In studying photography, students can expand their visual vocabulary while learning about narrative, art history, critique, chemistry and even mathematics! We offer affordable workshops and facility rentals call for more details.
SPECIALIZED WORKSHOPS
Our workshops offer students a chance to express themselves, be inspired by the masters, and to learn about the craft of photography. They can be tailored to fit your curriculum, and most can be held in your classroom or at RayKo.
B&W Darkroom Workshop
In four hours, students can learn to make a silver-gelatin print (At RayKo only).
Digital Darkroom Workshop
Digital cameras are used to teach basic photography principals, or be designed to cover topics like community, family, and diversity.
