About Nature Nurture Adventure!


Linda Constant, owner, program director and lead teacher at Nature Nurture, had a vision: to teach and practice – for the benefit of impressionable preschoolers (3 to 5 years old) – the concept of honoring all living things, including others and ourselves. Gratefully and happily, Nature Nurture Adventure! is the manifestation of that vision.

 

Nature Nurture Adventure! offers outdoor sensory and tactile journeys along well-groomed trails in the Presidio, plus bus rides to various nature-enriched environments in the Presidio, as children look, listen, laugh, learn and use their senses to find and examine bugs, birds, leaves and trees.

 

FIRST TIME EVER!  Nature Nurture is offering MOMMY & ME classes for moms and kids 3 years and under. Take some leisure time with your little one. We meet indoors for a short circle time, and then walk into the beautiful forest on the Kid's Ecology Trail. Classes will be focused on moms and children simply "being" in nature: Wednesdays, July 21 & 28 9-10:30am and Thursdays, July 22 & 29 9:30 - 11am. $38/class.

Nature Nurture has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. In a world where life keeps moving faster and faster--even for our kids--Nature Nurture allows children to slow down and play with rolly-polly's, pick worms out of the ground, and appreciate the smell of eucalyptus. Nature Nurture also helps children develop an emotional and social awareness by talking about friendship, good manners and being responsible. I'm grateful that my daughter has had the chance to experience a simpler time at Nature Nurture
