About Pinemere Camp
A Pinemere Camp’s mission is to provide campers and staff members with a group living experience rooted in the religious and social traditions of Judaism. Pinemere defines its identity by means of group processes and opportunities for personal growth. Our goal is to provide each camper with an individualized, progressive, and diverse program designed to foster new skills and to refine old ones. An overnight summer camp is a home for children. At Pinemere, that means creating and maintaining a Jewish environment that provides each and every camper with the support of caring staff members and the opportunity to grow. Beginning with dedicated leaders committed to family values, and reinforced by our active and talented staff of supervisors, educators, counselors and specialists, Pinemere has built a structured and nurturing community. The personal attention given to each child, including the boys and girls arriving for their first summer experience, and the quality of care our campers receive each day, are the hallmark of excellence at Pinemere.
Set in the heart of the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Pinemere has created an exceptionally beautiful environment to foster the positive growth and development of each of its campers. Pinemere is dedicated to offering children a chance to enjoy a summer camp experience in a majority Jewish setting where they can grow socially, emotionally and spiritually.
