The Delaware Museum of Natural History opened its doors in 1972 to excite and inform people about the natural world through exploration and discovery.
Encounter life-sized dinosaurs, look beneath the seas, experience an African watering hole, come face-to-face with a jaguar, marvel at the diversity of birds and shells from around the world... These and many other discoveries await you at the Delaware Museum of Natural History!
The Delaware Museum of Natural History's Summer Camp is an exciting blend of nature, art, and adventure programming designed to provide young campers with a fun and educational summer experience. Using the Museum's facilities and the beautiful environment of the Larry Scott Nature Trail, Summer Camp offers a wide variety of programs designed to engage and excite any child. Whether searching for wildlife, creating a nature journal, or learning about animals from around the globe, campers will enjoy their summer at one of Delaware's favorite museums. The Museum offers camp programs for children ages 2 through 13.
