About Jordan Center Dance


The JCD Dance Intensives are designed to cultivate a stronger technical understanding of dance, emphasizing not only the importance of high quality technique, but also dance as an expressive vehicle to translate art. Our program offers top quality master teachers and JCD staff who are dedicated to the learning process and growth of individual students. JCD’s teaching philosophy is to focus on developing multi-faceted dancers by exposing them to a wide variety of disciplines. The emphasis being on classical ballet technique, classic and current jazz techniques/styles, tap “vocabulary” that includes “street” and “Broadway” styles, and a blend of the latest lyrical and contemporary movement that when combined create a versatile performer.
